Children's Beach House (CBH) is happy to offer a variety of events throughout the calendar year. We create successful fundraising events by partnering with local organizations and sponsors. Our efforts generate funds for the organization while raising awareness for our cause—all the while providing good times in good company to all involved.

• Miles for Children, Molly’s Tradition Continues, Saturday, June 25, 2011

  This 5K run/walk was established in memory of Molly Christopher, who was born on May 24 and died on May 31, 2000, from a rare heart defect. Although her time with us was short, she touched the hearts of her family and their friends for a lifetime. Through their generous contributions, Children's Beach House has dedicated a children's activity room in Molly's memory.

• Beach Barbecue, Saturday, September 3, 2011

  Trustee Emilee Reynolds started this event as a Sussex County friend-raiser. It is an evening of fun by the bay. Featuring live music, fine food and drinks, it is a celebration of the end of summer by good friends and neighbors. This casual event has quickly gained in popularity.

• Plein Air Brandywine Valley, Sunday, September 25th - Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

  A celebration of the landscape and history of the Brandywine Valley and the art it inspires, Plein Air Brandywine Valley will be held between September 25th through October 2, 2011. A Gala Reception will be held on Friday, September 30th. CBH will partner with the Chester County Art Association, whose mission is to help promote participation in the arts through quality instruction, exhibitions, and community outreach. The event will feature ongoing painting and photo competitions, displays, and more.

• Holiday Art Show & Sale, Friday, December 2nd - Sunday, December 4th, 2011

  This is the traditional kick off of the holiday season in Lewes, a part of the Lewes Christmas Tour. The event features the works of 100+ local and regional artists. Funds raised at the event help support CBH's general operating budget.

• CBH Golf Classic, Thursday, May 24, 2012

  ONE DAY, ONE COURSE, ONE CAUSE. This great spring event draws participants from across Delaware!
