Children’s Beach House is celebrating the success of its 2026 Golf Classic, held May 18 at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club. A Tap-In Reception the night before helped set the lively tone for the event, featuring a live and silent auction, music by Sol Knopf, and exceptional food and drink catered by Greater Good Events. Funds raised sustain CBH’s Youth Development Program and Afterschool Program, which create safe, supportive environments where children can build confidence, develop positive, lasting relationships, and access opportunities that strengthen the entire family.
Children’s Beach House is especially grateful to the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, the event’s title sponsor, for its leadership and support. “We’ve been excited to get involved with Children’s Beach House for a while,” said Larry DeFrancisco at the check presentation during the Tap-In Reception, “and this sponsorship is just the beginning!”
Children’s Beach House has served Delaware children and families since 1937. Through a positive youth development approach, CBH creates nurturing spaces where children experience safety, belonging, and opportunities to reach their highest potential. “Every sponsor commitment, foursome, bid, and ticket represents an investment in brighter futures for children and families across Delaware,” said CBH Executive Director Rich Garrett. “Children’s Beach House wouldn’t be here almost ninety years later without the support of our community.”
